The Pitkin Hotel is located in the historic mountain town of Pitkin, CO located in eastern Gunnison County. The hotel is roughly 30 miles northeast of Gunnison and north of Hwy 50 tucked inside the Quartz Creek Valley between Gunnison and Monarch Pass.

Yes, we are!
The only day the Bon-Ton Bistro is closed to the public is Christmas Day. However, we do accommodate our hotel guests.
Throughout the year we do close various venues for private events such as corporate parties and weddings. We recommend following our Facebook and Instagram pages for closure announcements as well as our event page.

Yes! We do have live music every weekend during the summer and fall months at Venue 1904 located outside of the Pitkin Hotel.
Most shows are free of charge, but occasionally a small cover fee is charged for larger acts. We recommend following our Facebook and Instagram pages as well as our event page for concert details.

Check-in is at 3PM and check-out is at 11AM.
If you need an early check-in or late check-out, you can discuss this with us prior to check-in and we will try to accommodate if possible.

100% refund 60 days prior to check-in.
50% refund 30-60 days prior to check-in.
Otherwise, no refund.
Exceptions will be considered at the discretion of the management.

Breakfast is not included in a hotel reservation, but feel free to come downstairs between 9AM and 12PM!

Pets are only allowed in our Silver Islet ADA suite on the ground floor of the hotel.
We have a maximum capacity of 2 pets, and there is a nightly non-refundable pet fee of $50 the first nights and $30 each additional night.

We do encourage guests use our “call head seating system” especially for parties of 4 or more. This insures priority seating for your requested time.

We have one handicap accessible room on the first floor of the Pitkin Hotel. The Silver Islet ADA suite offers a king bed and accommodates 2 guests.

We are a smoke-free hotel. Please see the front desk for information on designated smoking areas.
During the summer, Colorado is often under a fire ban. While smoking inside the premises is always prohibited, this may impact the ability to smoke outside, as well.
Discuss this at check-in if you have questions.

We use Starlink WiFi throughout the hotel, and you will be given access to the WiFi at check-in.

Due to limited space, we do not have laundry open to guests, but offer limited laundry service. Discuss with management for rates and availability.

We do not have elevators. Because we are a historic hotel, we only have stairs to access the majority of our rooms. However, we have one handicap accessible room on the first floor of the hotel. The Silver Islet ADA suite is a perfect option for folks with limited mobility or pet owners!
